The Noud family can trace its karting history back to the mid 1990’s. Future owner AJ Noud was busy campaigning Tag and Shifter karts as a young driver. With the help of his father Bill and brother Shane, AJ quickly started winning races and emerged as a competitive driver nationally. Soon AJ had won himself several state and regional championships high lighted by a SKUSA Super Nationals win in the S2 class in 1999.

Bill and AJ were constantly in search of that competitive edge needed to stay out in front. They worked with several local chassis and engine tuners and developers to figure out what worked, and what didn’t. It didn’t take long for the duo to realize that there was a lot of tribal wisdom and motorsport myth in karting. They engineered innovative solutions to common problems that plagued the karts they raced. Their feedback to suppliers was instrumental in the development of the next generation of karting.

In 2000 AJ took advantage of the opportunity to race for GP with Fury Imports in Indiana. Joe had opened a new shop importing GP chassis and was looking for a driver. Under the guidance of Joe, AJ rapidly discovered and exploited the strengths of the new chassis. GP and Fury Imports were on the map in local karting. While continuing to develop his driving and the new kart, AJ worked full time in Indiana as Joe’s shop manager and team driver. Back home in Colorado Bill founded Rocky Mountain Kartworks as the newest GP dealer and started promoting their phenomenal products. In 2006, recently engaged to his future wife Lori, and with a baby girl on the way, AJ decided it was time to stop racing and went to work full time with Kartworks.

GP Racing Italy was started in 1995 by karting pioneer, Beppe Cavaciuti. His vision and experience have helped to create one of the finest chassis in the market.
